Working a full time job, raising two daughters, attempting to have a social life, trying to make my family proud, and trying to make myself proud are things I do every day. I'm now beginning my journey of giving. This is step one.

Hello, Loves. It's been another beautiful day on this earth and I've had a wonderful weekend with my two little girls. I had a conversation this weekend, and I'd like to share some points of that conversation with you. I think what I said helped the young woman I was speaking to - at least I hope it did because she's a very special person to me. She is not happy at her current job, and is having trouble finding a new job quickly. She explained to me that the owner of her company is hard to deal with and she feel she gets picked on being a woman in her field.
I explained that, most importantly, her feelings are valid. She is allowed to feel unappreciated and taken advantage of if that's how she feels. In the midst of that, though, I explained the importance of understanding there is a limit to the negativity any person should allow in their mind. In all situations we all must make a conscious effort to limit negativity and encourage positivity to grow in our lives. We have to take every negative aspect of any situation and see the lesson in it. We have to twist things in our minds to ensure we are constantly building space for positive thoughts and new perspectives.
If you don't like your job, be thankful you have a job at all. If you are looking for a new job and having trouble finding something, understand that what is for you can only be for you. If you don't get a job you wanted, know that there is something better waiting for you. If you feel you are underappreciated, focus your energy on doing the right thing and karma will take care of the rest. As long as you are doing your work you are on the right track. As long as you keep moving forward things will come together.
Never lose faith in that.

So, guys, I have some pretty exciting news for you! But before I tell you, let me start by saying a few other things. It's been a year now that I've been sharing my thoughts with you. It has been a true pleasure; a lot has happened. I've done my best to stay true to what my intentions always were for this space. I want positivity and truth to live here. I want encouragement and vulnerability to live here. I want my story to help you navigate yours. I want to be a voice in your head. I want to show you that having a forward-looking and open mind can help you put powerful force behind your thoughts and goals. You can work hard and achieve your goals. You can put effort into choosing the direction of your life. You can see something in your future and work to get there. You may fall down from time to time and get some bumps and bruises along the way, but you can and you will achieve everything you are supposed to achieve in this life. Everything happens for a reason. I live my life by that sentence. I'm now at a point in my life where I see that even the bad things that have happened along my path had a purpose. I am me because of the things I've seen.
With that being said, I'm excited to tell you that I just got a promotion at work! I started training today and I must say I really do believe I'm going to enjoy this job; and that's not something many people have the pleasure of saying. I worked really hard to get here and I'm proud of the progress I've made in such a short span of time. I'm truly fortunate. There was another position I had gone for and didn't get, but now I see I didn't get it because it just wasn't time for that in my life. If it's meant to be, it will be.
That thought, my friends, is what has gotten me to the mental and emotional space I'm in now. I want that for all of you. I want to continue this growth with you.
Please continue to send messages through the "Contact" page. I love speaking with you all and I appreciate that there is nothing but positivity. I love the stories as well!
Keep pushing, my loves. We've got this!
